The leading cause of death for women between the ages of 35 and 55 is breast cancer. Madison County has the second highest breast cancer death rate in Ohio and the highest percentage of late stage diagnosis. In an effort to get more residents screened and treated, The Madison County Hospital Foundation works with The Columbus Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Together we provide breast cancer screening, treatment, and educational services for residents in Madison County. Services are available, of little to no expense for patients, to assist with screening and treatment costs, even if you have insurance. Breast Care Clinics provide mammograms and clinical breast exams at no out-of-pocket cost. Clinic appointments are available to any woman, whether she is uninsured or has insurance but cannot afford her co-pay or deductable. To make an appointment call 740.845.7100 and refer to the "Breast Care Clinic." Need financial assistance for your breast cancer treatment?
