Emergency

No matter what type of emergency situation you’re faced with, we’re here to help. The Madison County Hospital Emergency Department is staffed by a qualified team of physicians and nurses, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to meet all of your emergency care needs. Quick access to the hospital’s laboratory, radiology, X-ray, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) allow for timely diagnosis and treatment.

If your health situation requires advanced specialized care, the medical team at MCH can stabilize your condition for safe air or ground transport. Patients can take comfort in knowing their transfer will be quick and efficient thanks to collaboration with MedFlight of Ohio, the Mount Carmel/OSU Health Care Alliance and other Columbus hospitals, and a solid relationship with the Madison County Emergency Medical District’s emergency medical services (EMS).
