Celebrated at Awards Dinner

Madison County Hospital employees were recently recognized at the annual Employee Recognition Dinner held at the Brennan Loft in downtown London. The evening celebrated service milestones, 2009 “Employee of the Month” recipients, and awards for exceptional service. 30 Years of Service: Darla Bires, Kay Reed, and Patti Wilson. 20 Years of Service: Michelle Bierbaugh, Kim Krieger, and Karen Summers. 10 Years of Service – Patty Alfrey, Susan Black, Joy Hayes, Denise Peterman, Jennifer Piccione, Velma Radcliff, Carrie Wallen, and Anita Wilhelm. 5 Years of Service – Nicole Brown, Angela Curtis, Karin Faust, Bethanie Gossard, Lee Inskeep, Sarah Johnson, Wilma Meek, Karla Miller, Joyce Moore, Thomas Nance, Elizabeth Nelson, Missy Peak, Carolyn Pritchard, Twylia Salyers, and James Wood. Also receiving special recognition was “Cups for Caring” recipients, Mary Jane Blake, Cathy Chamberlin, and Mark Tromba. “Cups for Caring” is a program where employees are nominated for exceptional service in one of the following areas: caring – demonstrating exceptional kindness to a patient; commitment – going “above and beyond” or taking on an unwelcome assignment; creativity – contributing ideas or solutions that improve services or save money; and competency – exceptional effort and results in performing job responsibilities. |
