New brand emphasizes that
“Patients Come First”

There are numerous patients that go in and out of hospital doors every day. You rely on healthcare facilities to address your needs and medical concerns. Here at Madison County Hospital, we have your best interest in mind first and foremost.

When redesigning our look, we wanted to highlight how important our patients are to what we do. Our new brand logo emphasizes that we are an organization “Where Patients Come First.” This isn’t just a few words we toss around, but a philosophy we live and work by.

“Patients are who we as staff think of first when performing our day to day jobs,” said Michelle Bierbaugh, Director of Clinical Quality and Education. As a first resource for patients seeking medical attention, Madison County Hospital prioritizes patients as the major focus at every level of operation.

No matter their position or what department, each person working for Madison County Hospital strives to do their job in the best interest of the patients served.

“It is always about the patient in front of me right then, not about how busy I might be or how lousy I might feel,” said Ruth Roddy, a Breast Care Specialist at the hospital. “The patient is the vulnerable person and must be treated kindly, respectfully, and with my best efforts.”

This high esteem for the people that we treat drives everything done at Madison County Hospital. Don’t let our new logo be the only evidence-put us to the test, come in and see how we care for your health.

What the staff are saying:

“Patients are the reason we are here, so their needs come FIRST before our own. They are why we improve clinical care and customer service, and why we improve our skills and our technology. They drive everything we do. That’s how they come first.”
- Jennifer Clarke, Director of Organization Development and Education

“When someone in the community is in need of medical care, the first place they think of is Madison County Hospital. Once they arrive in our facility, there is never any question in our patients’ minds that they are the reason we are here and we are so glad they chose us.”
- Chris Peters, controller

“It means that in all that we do, the patient, family and others are our first priority—that their perception becomes their reality.”
- Barbara, nursing

“It means you go out of your way to make patients and their guests feel comfortable and in good hands. You also need to make them feel that what they’re going through and how they feel is important to you.”
- Amanda Kinney, housekeeper
